This is a competition proven gearbox, built to take 300bhp/ 250lbsft – it has been lightened and weighs over 1kg less than a standard ford gear kit. Heavy duty mainshafts and layshaft pins, with needle roller 1st & 2nd gears as standard and Manganese phosphate coating to 3rd & 5th gears, (OE coating) this helps prevent gears seizing on the main shaft.
