1958 Corvette RESTORED Fuel Injection Unit, Engine Block, Matching Correct Heads and Distributor.1 Fuel Injection Unit-CORRECT 1958 4900R 290hp Fuel Injection Unit-Serial number 1975.This unit has been 100% RESTORED and REBUILT 2 1958 283 Flint Engine Block-This is a 3737739 block that is date casted F108 – June 10,1958.The Stamp pad shows F612CS.This is an assembly date of June 12, 1958.The CS code according to my books is a Corvette manual transmission fuel injected motor.I have inspected the block and the stamps and cannot tell if they are original or restamped.It appears that the block may have been decked at one point – cannot see the broach marks like most-SO ASSUME the block has been restamped and if it was not it is a bonus!The block was cleaned, magnafluxed and pressure checked and is 0.020 over on the bore.So it is guaranteed to be free of cracks and 100% rebuildable with no issues.3.Pair of matching 3748770 X58 heads.These are 1958 Fuel Injection Corvette heads and again were running on the engine when I purchased it.The date codes are E14 and E15 1958 (May 14 and May 15,1958).These have been professionally cleaned and magnafluxed and are guaranteed to be free of cracks and 100% rebuildable.They do not appear to have been modified or polished.4.Fuel Injection Distributor-Correct 1110914 290 horsepower Fuel Injection Distributor.The unit has been fully restored and will include the cap.Please specify the date of your car-I will provide the correct aftermarket tag date coded to your car.
