This Ford-Cosworth DFX is a turbocharged 2.65-liter version of the Double Four Valve (DFV) engine that was initially developed by Cosworth for Formula One racing and later adapted for IndyCar racing by the Vel’s Parnelli Jones Racing Team. The engine features aluminum alloy construction, double overhead camshafts, and 32 valves. It is said to have been purchased by the previous owner in 1992 as a display piece, and was acquired by the current owner in December 2022.
